The Northwest Regional Conference in Portland takes place next week, and the Vancouver Lace Club will be sending more members than it ever has. The following Thursday, June 25th, is our next scheduled meeting. Those of us who are fresh back from the conference will bring our show and tell, and so it should be a good meeting with lots of news.
But, due to a scheduling conflict the meeting might be moved to a different room. If you can’t find us, just ask at the counter (on your right as you come through the main entrance). They will be able to direct you.
This will be our last meeting before the summer break. During the last few summers we have enjoyed unofficial outdoor summer meetings in Queen’s Park in New Westminster, where we have made lace in the gazebo in the Rose Garden. This summer we hope to continue with our park meetings, except the Rose Garden is often closed for groundskeeping or for private functions, so we are looking for another sheltered place. If you know of any suitable location, please let us know.
