Tea for a Diamond Jubilee!

The Vancouver Lace Club’s first meeting was in January, 1955 (you can read all about it by clicking on History on the menu bar above this post) and so this year is our Diamond Jubilee. To celebrate, we are holding a tea:

Date & Time: Thursday, May 21st, from 1 to 3 pm.

Location: The London Heritage Farm Tea Room in Richmond. (map) This historic farm is furnished with items from the 1880 – 1920 period, and your ticket includes a tour of the house as well as access to outdoor areas like the rose garden and barn.

Cost: $15 per ticket. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and are available from Jay Rudoph (Pear-Shaped Designs, see link on the right-hand side of this page).

Please come if you can! If you would like to come but can’t figure out how to get there, do let us know. A few of our members will be driving out and maybe we can pick you up.

  1. It sounds like a lovely day to enjoy with like-minded people. Wish I could be there but it’s a bit far from UK :-D. Have a great time!!
